Part of our corporate philosophy is giving back to the community however we can. Our charitable giving could not be less “corporate” however. We strongly believe and richly support each of our charities. Employees of American Steel Fabrication and the friends and clients of our larger ASFI Community can often be found at local events and association gatherings. We like to take part in local, small charities and grow with them on the ground level. We’ve participated and given to such charities for years before realizing we could showcase it through our ASFI Community logo and get more of our clients and friends involved. Our daughter Amber was very involved in the Megan Meier Foundation, a charity dedicated to help prevent bullying and cyberbullying in honor of its namesake, Megan, who in 2007 took her own life following a cruel cyberbullying hoax by an adult neighbor posing as a fictitious boy on MySpace.
